I am thinking just to ignore it. I think it would be OK to ignore it too. If you ignore a parking ticket, it goes into default, and then they do a licence plate check to determine the address of the vehicle owner and they mail that person an invoice. BUT, since they have an incorrect licence plate number in their records, they won't be able to contact you and you'll get off. They person that does have that licence plate number will also get off, since the make and model of his car will likely not match the info that is on the ticket.

The ticket says I was pulled over on Van Horne Ave and has the wrong birth date. Unread post by: Radar Identified on Thu Oct 21, am. The ticket lists the location of the offence, not the traffic stop.
If you committed the offence on Van Horne, then it is correct. Incorrect birth date is not sufficient to get the ticket quashed. Can you tell us what you were charged with, and maybe some more detail? There could be other ways of fighting the charge.
