Teva mountain games 2012 slopestyle

Any Pro bmxer could roll up and win it. Anyone else think It's time to put the mountain back in mountain biking? MikeZinger Jun 1, at In all honestly Any pro or Am bmxer rider could roll up and win any mtb jump event. Lets face it mtbers have shocks and big wheels cause they are babies and dont kno how to absorb a landing with there body property. At least throw some snake pits and rock slides in there, this is mountain biking after all. CurtDB Jun 1, at You can pin a landing just as smooth on 26" as you can on a 20".

Don't get me wrong, I respect the hell out of BMX, after all, its what started 2 wheeled action sports. Looks so much fun to ride, even if you're not a pro. Tarka May 31, at I'm sure even pros enjoy riding a course which isn't so huge and scary once in a while. RampageRules May 31, at Winteberg course was like 'do or die'. On that course riders can pull more crazy tricks without crash hardly when something goes wrong.

LeToux May 31, at Each time a european rider was in the game, he won, isn't it? It's time to change that, over the toothless! So much fun for all you there! Super tight edit Dylan. Finals today. Gutted Cam McCaul is injured. Beers numb tha pain. Go Vail. Mitchelina Jun 21, at I really appreciate such kind of things like these risky games!

Dj-Tramp May 31, at MikeZinger May 31, at He smacked his head pretty good but he walked away no major injuries. Everyone was killing it in qualifiers. Big smiles all day. It took a while for the riders to warm up to the Teva wall ride but by contest time there were a lot of cool tricks being thrown down.

The crowd started to get big right before finals. Paul Genovese started the finals off heavy with a super clean run including a perfect mid course.

Up and comer Preston Bula was pulling clean stylish runs all day. Specialized rider Andrew Bigelow pulled some rad tricks out for finals. Matt Dennis is definitely starting to make a name for himself. He stomped an amazing run including a mid course frontflip and a perfect flip barspin on the last jump. Look out for this young gun in the future.

Fogel stomped a clean run which put him in 5th place. Casey Groves is back ladies and gentlemen. Nothing but smooth runs from this guy all weekend. Mitch Chubey dialling in a super technical final run finishing him in 4th overall. Looks like he will be sticking around. Frontflips and Flipwhips are now standard trick in slopestyle.

Sam Pilgrim tricked every feature perfectly and landed himself the win. Immediately after the slopestlye ended, the Teva crew brought out the lights and started the best trick competition. Casey Groves brought out the Indian Air for best trick, but unfortunately he couldn't get more than one foot back on. Josh Hult with a double downside tail whip attempt. Pilgrim with a clean super flip. Matt Dennis face planted on a massive front flip, luckily he walked away with only a few scratches.

Jeremy Weiss with a flip whip attempt. Posted In: Stories Slopestyle. Clarkeh Jun 2, at Mike was late? Probably on his road bike. Weird observation I know, but I think it's nice how one fork doesn't dominate slopestyle. I think it's awesome that there are so many good forks out there and it's a credit to our industry. I think its an xfusion vengeance not sure though.

Marzocchi, X-Fusion or Fox from here on out.
